not worth the money

You can summarize my review in one sentence: I am glad to be moving out.
This is not the worst place in the world, but for what you pay for it, it is not worth it at all. This place nickel and dimes you to death. Water sewer and garbage are extra, parking passes are extra, a washer/dryer in unit is extra. This combined with the initial price of the apartment you can be spending $1500 on a 2 bedroom apartment and wondering why you don't just buy a house'
Don't let them fool you with a nice landscape and tour through the show apartment, yours will not look nearly as nice and I was even in one of the newly renovated apartments. By renovating them, they replace the carpet, paint the walls, replace the windows, replace the kitchen counters and rebuild the deck/patio. All of which is nice. However, the rest of the apartment is not touched - They still have the same old 1970s bathroom fixtures, bathtub, toilet, sinks, refrigerator, range, heater, air conditioner, kitchen cabinets, thermostat, dishwasher and garbage disposal that I had to constantly bother with and call service about. These items should be replaced, but they just are not willing the spend the money on it - and neither should you. Save your money and do not move here.
My car was broken into and so were many others. There is a gate surrounding the apartment, but it is constantly propped open and can only be closed with a special key that only the security guy has (the front office people can't do it no matter how much I complain) but the security guy only does one round per day - so if the gate is propped open it stays open all night, sometimes all weekend. This would not be so bad, but the area around this place is full of criminals and bums - every single time I go to take out the trash there are two or three bums going through it! This is not rare for sacramento apartments, but you would think a gated community with security could keep out groups of undesirables and at least keep my possessions safe.
Lastly, I highly suggest you take a look at the people who live here before you move in. You will see groups of young men carrying nothing but large stereos and cases of beer. Does that sound like your weekends will be quiet and restful' I didn't think so. Noise has made my life a living hell here, and most of the parties START at 2AM when they get home from the bars. The place is dead silent during the day but right on the dot at 2AM you will hear peeling out and racing of engines, slamming of car doors and large, loud groups of people walking through the complex. God help you if you live anywhere near the parking lot. Living here and watching people move in I have come to the conclusion that this is where all the wealthy families offload their spoiled college brats when it comes time for them to go to state college and the brats spend their 4 years partying it up here animal house style. Too bad it has to be right next to your bedroom - but it doesn't have to be because you won't be moving in here.
Alternatively - if you are one of said college brats - this is an excellent place to really cut loose. These apartments are catering to your style and you will have wealthy parents to cosign for the damages, so they will greet you with open arms. Either way I am out of here and boy am I glad to be free!
