I've lived her about a year now and haven't had any problems. The management and the people working in the office are friendly and helpful. The maintenance workers respond to your work requests in a timely manner. My neighbors are quiet and respectful. And although some tenants have warned me about car break-ins, I am lucky to not have had any problems yet (knock on wood). I think that if you keep your car from being a target, you should be ok (just have a good car alarm, anti-theft device, and don't leave things in plain view inside of your car). There is also a 24 hour security patrol that I occasionally see during different times of the day, night, and early morning. As far as parking, I have never had problems finding an open space near my apartment (GF uses our covered parking space). The pool area is (which is gated and can only be accessed with a magnetic card) is clean, well-lit and family friendly, and has an outdoor fireplace by the spa. There is also a business center, clubhouse, and fitness center. It is also conveniently located near stores and Arco Arena (traffic during Kings games can be frightening, though). My few gripes:
1) Not gated. Anyone can enter.
2) No basketball/tennis courts
3) No real play area for kids
4) Only 1 pool area
5) Only 2 entrances, both on Terracina Drive (this is the intersection where the main Arco Arena gate is located, so left turn onto Truxel is sometimes blocked during Kings games). They need another entrance/exit onto Del Paso Rd.
5) And since it lacks these ammenities, I feel they are over-priced. So far, we are paying about $1210 for a 2 bedroom model (utilities not included).

Overall, if you looking for a quiet, decent place to live (and don't mind throwing away your $$$), Granite Point is an ok place to live.
