First of all, all these reviews are subjective. Please remember that if someone comes from a dump, they will love it here. If someone comes from the TajMahal, this will be a disappointment to him/her. If you truly expect everything perfect everyday, seek therapy.
The apartment itself is nice. The girls in the office are nice and polite, save for one. The grounds are maintained well for the most part. Parking lots are usually well-lit, grounds are sparsely lit. No pests to speak of. Excessive thru traffic is no longer a problem thanks to the gate.
You can only have AT&T HE cable, which sucks. Thats why dishes are popping up. They claim to be looking at alternatives for cable too. The management, in my neutral opinion, is honestly trying to make this apartment a better place to live. They throw parties in the office on several occaions, which they dont have to do, that are actually pretty decent. Thanks Rebecca and Christy.
Just a tip- If you have ANYTHING of value in your vehicle, you stand a good chance of having it stolen. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU HAVE AN ALARM, OR THAT YOUR CAR IS SURROUNDED BY OCCUPIED APARTMENTS. YOU ARE IN SACRAMENTO. There will always be some punks and loiterers everywhere. Overall quality of tenants in my area of the apartments in two years has greatly declined. Get used to the helicopters and sirens. The apartments across the water are a crime circus.
We finally moved out, and broke a lease to do so. Bought a home for an extra $100/month. Good luck on getting any deposit back whatsoever. You WILL owe extra money when you leave. Plan on paying for new carpets, and probably paint too. The things that other apartments cover after a lengthy stay, or possibly prorate, these guys will charge you for. Read the other moveout reviews. Our experience was no different. $850 deposit gone for 3br, plus billed for all new carpets and several other items. Apartment was in better than average move out condition, kitchen/bath thorough cleaned, etc. Hope you paid your rent on time so you can make payment arrangements, or plan to stay. If you are a current resident planning to move out, good luck! GO GET A WALKTHROUGH AND SEE HOW MUCH YOU'D CURRENTLY OWE!
The great part is- this is the best place in Natomas.
