As stated above the staff is always willing to screw you with a smile. After numerous times of others parking in my spot I basically gave up on Assigned parking. Complaining about others parking in my spot got a responce of "ohh well we will contact them". The second I parked in someone elses spot on halloween weekend ,because there was no other spot on the property, my car was promplty towed with no notice. Of course if they called I would have moved it. My girlfriend and I have often felt harrassed by the staff at every opportunity but when we have a legitiment complaint or argument they move at the pace of a dieing tortous.

Safety is a joke on this property, my car was broken in to, I called security, no responce. A week later they let me know that apparently security was not a priority so they cancelled the service. Now they have some tennant getting cheaper rent that they call security.

For the ridiculous amount you pay in rent you should expect better service and safety. Their new improved security measure is a "gate" surrounding the property, unfortunatly they found a way to screw this up as well. There is an open doorway at every walkway leading to the outside. Yes read that open, no lock, anyone can walk in. And of course you dont need a button to leave the "gated" community so the car theives walk in and drive out unimpeded.

Basically this apartment is the ghetto posing as a nice area. The apartments right down the street are "section-4" or whatever its called. Basically apartments for the less fortunate which of course drives crime up. Even more unfortunate for granite pointe is for those less fortunate to get to any shopping or school areas those residents walk right through Granite Pointe. Ive had messages written on my car in soda, (i hope thats what it was), my girlfriends car has been keyed. Another one of our cars was broken into as stated above. Well basically im ranting hopefully youve gotten the picture. If not Enjoy your stay at Granite Pointe.



Update: Once i recieved my car back from the towing company there was significant damage including: a flat tire, a large scratch on front fender, and a baseball size dent on opposite fender. The towing company (Natomas Towing) told me good luck proving they did the damage in court. To their credit the complex also found this appauling but to date have done nothing about it. Furthermore the staff of the apartment complex apparently read this post and called my girlfriend to vent their dissapointment "IN US". If you dont like the critisim contained here in this post fix the problems mentioned.

After calling the police about the towing situation I was adviced to take civil action against the towing company which I will most likely extend against the apartment complex as well. One of the employees mentioned a possible compensation which could resolve part of the situation, but this is only the beginning of the problems mentioned above.

I am at least slightly relieved that they actually have read this critisism but the fact that they said, "It reflects badly on you", just makes me think they dont understand the problem. This post doesnt reflect badly on me it reflects badly on the complex.


I will keep this post updated since there was some talk about a possible resolution to the most recent problem.
