I am considering breaking the lease and paying the lease break it is that bad here. The staff is awful and any good reviews you see are from them... so i have been told. I have an account that is only used to pay rent and is not mainted daily because it is for that purpose. There was issues with identity theft and money lost without my knowledge until i get a notice today that my check bounced. Today is feb 14th. I looked at the account and it bounced on Feb 3 which by granite points standards is not yet late. They didn't put the notice up until today so now they are taking on a $25.00 late fee and $25.00 nsf fee. Ridiculous. And to make it worse I was in the office to collect mail on Feb 4th and again on the 5th and the staff said not a word to me. I have paid on time everymonth and for quite a few months paid over including the prior month and this is how i get treated. I have 3 years spotless rental history most from my prior apartment which i would still be in if i didn't have to move for work. Seriously I want people to know how much they really sock it to you here, they are rude as all hell. I just want to tell people make sure you run away from these apartments. Every neighboor and resident in these apartments is appauled by the staff here and the way it is run. When I get my next apartment I am going to make sure that it is not owned by the same group that is how bad it is here.

Actually I can vouch that I am an actual resident and have written a good review. I think you need to think about this complaints and think if they are truly valid. If your check bounced on the 3rd there is not possible way that the office would have known that quickly and in fact because my sister works for Wells Fargo I happen to know that it could take up to 2 WEEKS for them to recieve notice. So before you are irritated by this find out the facts. They seem very nice anytime I have gone in and think you should try to be reasonable. Good luck! :o)

I too am a resident and have also written a good review of Granite Point. Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your bank account, but maybe it is the bank not the apartment, maybe you should have tried explaining to them what happened. I have never had any problems with any of the office staff here.
