This is the first apartment where I have ever had so many problems with pests - ants, spiders, slugs, and mice. I did ask about what could be done. The response was they could do chemical sprays. Due to health reasons, I can NOT have pesticides used in the household. The staff reaction was not our problem and no other solution. We have had multiple leaks - one resulting in major mold infestation. After several weeks and multiple complaints and mold growing on the wall, they finally believed me and took action. During the repairs, they weren't even going to repair part of the soaked dry wall until I complained. I have set up appointments for repairs (since I have pets) and no one shows up or they show up much later then scheduled. The washers and dryers are tiny and who knows when they last saw maintenance. I cleaned out a baseball size of lint from the dryer before being able to use it. When I complained that the dryer wasn't working properly I was told the dryer still heats up so it's okay. Who cares that it takes at least 1 hr 45 min to dry a small load. Finally the furnaces - they only do maintenance once or twice a year. Since moving in, they have changed the furnace filter ONCE. No wonder the place is constantly dusty. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I moved in but when problems come up or they screw up it's always not their problem.

We do apoligize for the inconveince you're experiencing however; if this issue was brought to our attention earlier, we would have taken action immediatley to take care of these issues. Furthermore, our staff would have never said that there was no solution for the pest control. We provide all of our residents with service every Tuesday (stated in your lease agreement), and we would have worked out a solution with the chemical sprays. As for the furnance filter, we replaced those twice a year during the summer and winter.

Would your solution to this problem be anything like what you recommended I do? I called and said I had a rat problem and you told me to go adopt a cat, and then you tried to charge me a deposit and pet rent for it!
