When I signed the lease, they told me that there were some things not working (garbage disposal, dishwasher, etc.), but they would have it fixed before I moved in. I moved in and things were not working still. 2 days after I moved in, the upstairs toilet broke when I wasn't home, and flooded the bathroom and the kitchen downstairs. I went to the manager and she said, "yeah, yeah, we'll get to it". Its been over a month and no one has been here to fix anything, -even the original problems. They just sold the property 9/03. The new owners are actually worse. They told me they'd fix everything, then they said nothing would be fixed unless I signed a new 6-mo lease with them. I have talked to many other tenants and they have the same problem with things being broken and not being fixed. The owners and management love to show how much they don't care. They have got to be the rudest, most arrogant people I've met. I am currently looking for a better place to live.

I know now where this ex tenant is coming from. I use to live in their other apartment complex and I upgraded from the apartment to a townhouse in Hillsdale Village. My a/c does not work and Im asthmatic. They came by a few times and act like they were fixing something but It still does'nt work and its been a week now and I've only been here for a month.

I hear what you are saying. Things was not working when I moved in either. The garbage disposal released all water and garbage all over my kitchen floor, shower head came off in my hand, a/c wasn't working, there was no hot water upstairs, so they had to drag a water hose from outside to fill the water heater, it was so empty that it took over 20 min. to fill it up. Heat wasn't working, I had to clean out the upstairs bathroom cabinet under the sink and kitchen drawers and kitchen cabinets as well, it had so much trash, I reported it several times nothing was done. Maintence tools left in the drawers, old dishes left in the dishwasher, it's still there after 6 months. I refuse to use it because it's filthy. Ohh, and gues what, all of this on my first move in day.
