My family and I moved in back in August 2005. I first heard of the mice (not rats) problem from a friend who also lives at the same complex. The problem comes from all of the building and new construction going on in the area (North Natomas) area. The staff was fully aware of the problem and gave us the necessary resources to use. They also held a meeting back in October 2005, and explained the problem and why the mice were coming into the apartments. As long as we have construction, there will be field mice. I haven't had any problems since last October, and I am very happy with the way the staff handled the problem. No matter where you go, you will have problems with field mice as long as new construction is going on. You might want to check out the mice problem at Safeway, which is way out of control, and they are NOT doing anything about it, instead of complaining about Homecoming @ Creekside. At least Homecoming acknowledged there was a problem, and took care of it. I've talked to the Safeway manager, and he shruged his shoulders and walked away.
