Not Resigning the Lease

I would advise against living in Jefferson. The only thing good about this place is that it is super close to school and the freeway and a gas station. The area overall though is not so good, kinda ghetto. Not much parking, it always fills up after 10pm on the weekdays. There's hardly any guest parking, so they have to park on the streets. The walls are paper thin, all of our apt's showers have clogged and gotten really gross, our windows started to mold, they will cite you for ANYTHING put on your balcony, can't have garbage, furniture, or even a box on your patio. There were horses out here which were cool, but now they seem to have died. It smells once you come in the parking lot. Rent is expensive, living room furniture is hard, not comfortable. The table and chairs always trip us cuz the legs stick out, kinda weird. The laundry doors almost killed us cuz they just up and fell off one day. The pool is only 4ft deep, only half a basketball court, small gym, the copy machine is not working right now, the tanning booth is gross, it is NEVER cleaned. This place ultimately sucks. Try somewhere else, you'd be much happier. Parties also get broken up in a flash by these rent a cops they've hired to patrol the place at night. They're kinda rude sometimes too.
By the way, Jefferson Commons is not on La Riv, it is on 4th Street.
