I don't live here but frequently visit friends who do, and all I can say is that in the last few months this place has turned into a hellhole! Before the new owners took over, the place was really quite nice looking. Yeah, it needed a coat of paint, but the buildings were a pretty color and the grounds looked nice. Now, they have totally stripped the buildings' siding and replaced it with a god-awful light yellow color with white trim. Every time I go over there, it makes me sad because the complex has become so aesthetically ugly. And this is without mentioning that the constant construction makes even visiting the place hell -- I cannot even begin to imagine living there. The worst thing is that the residents aren't even getting a cut in rent while living through all this! It's unbelievable! That in itself says to me that the management doesn't really care about the tenants. Oh yeah, and the parking situation, which was horrible pre-construction, has gotten even worse now that the construction equipment has taken over half of the non-assigned parking. The units themselves are actually fairly nice, but be forewarned that if you live on the 2nd floor with the lovely cathedral ceilings, you will bake in the summer since the air conditioning doesn't quite manage to keep the whole unit cool. All in all, I'm sure it's not the worst complex in Sacramento, but it's got to come pretty close!
