I just recently moved here and already experiencing problems with the staff. I paid my holding deposit which they have LOST but rather than tell me they lost it; I am being told I never paid it and that I have to pay it AGAIN'!! At least I have a friend who witnessed my paying the holding deposit.
I am going to be looking for a way out of my lease which they made for 1 year without asking me.
DON'T RENT HERE!!! They claim that they are in the process of reorganizing due to management changes. Well, if losing money orders is part of the new organization, your best bet is to go somewhere else.

New management...yeah right. I have been here over 4 years and (I am not exaggerating) there have been about 20 managers. One only lasted 2 weeks, the average is a couple of months and the building has been sold twice and it is worse than ever. The extremely high manager turn over indicates on going issues here that are not going to go away. RUN from here!!!!!!!! PS UPDATE to next post...YES there is another new manager (the other one was here a couple of months and I believe got in trouble due to the pools, but not sure) The Mosquito people that I spoke to said they had NEVER had a complex ignore them and they did receive a fine for not doing what they said they would (clean the pools) Hence, yes they are liars, not to just us, but to a government agency.

I agree with the previous post. That I know of, the shortest a manager stuck around was six days - when she came on she was surprised at our turnover saying she had been with her previous complex for more than 12 years... she was gone within the week. I haven't heard anything about new management, but it's not unlikely. They also keep claiming that the ownership is changing, but it hasn't in over 2.5 years.
I've lived here for over 4 years also. It was GREAT when I moved in. I think this site had over an 80% recommendation then. Now, the pools are still closed because the county won't let them open them for water safety reasons. I think this is the third time in less than a year that it has happened. This is just one example of how ------ the ownership/management here is.

Has anyone inquired about breaking your lease here. I have 10 more months on mine and i am going absolutley insane with my druggie neighbors and the yelling and cussing in the late hours of the night. How can i break my lease here and what consequences am i looking at?
FYI if anyone is EVER thinking of moving here please change your mind. Everything about it is bad. Things fall apart, the noise level, the management, pool did not open until mid july, drugs everywhere, trashy grounds! IT is horrible!
