It's okay...but not worth the money

I have lived here for three years and I am moving out at the end of my lease in September. It is an okay apartment complex...but definately not worth the $700 I pay for a studio apartment. There have been many staff and management changes...right now one staff person is very rude and unfriendly, the other one is okay. Last year when they were doing construction, the hammering on the walls caused the drywall on one side of my bedroom area to crack - fine, not a big deal and not a hazard. But when I told them to fix it, they never came over to even look at it. Recently (more than a year after asking them to fix it), I inquired about it again since we are leaving soon, and they said in their records the maintenance guy said it was fixed! I told them no, it needs to get fixed before we leave because I'm not paying for it, and they said someone would come over, but no one has been over yet...it has been more than a week! For minor repairs they seem okay. Oh, and the pool situation was gross, but they finally fixed it...just in time for the end of summer. The problem is, a lot of what they advertise is not as good as it appears to be...for a long time the gym was closed, then it was just open during business hours (like people really go between 8 am and 5 pm), and now finally it is open later. I think they need more security to prevent vandals from destroying the property. Also, they advertise it is a gated community, and that is a total lie...they removed the gate months ago so anyone can come in. Not as safe as they advertise it. If you are just looking for an average apartment, look somewhere else and at least save your money. If you want to live here, I would definately look at it first... uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax

Don't think for a minute that they resolved the disgusting and dangerous pool situation because they wanted to...they HAD to. The health department was after them. After they lied to tenants about why the pools were a swamp, they (I know for a fact) lied to the Mosquito abatement agency who in turn reported them to the health dept. What nerve! They are greedy and disgusting. more so than any other place I have lived or heard of. I am moving as soon as my lease is up. I have been through years of absolutely horrible treatment.
