Ever changing management and non-stop changes to pages of rules, which they change AFTER you move in.
They also like to raise rents frequently, and recently made tenants pay for water, hot water, sewer fees, garbage, etc., previously included in your rent. This totals appx $650/year; even more if 2 or more live in the apt. That's on top of rent increases.
Noise levels from driveway/parking areas are bad because they are close to the units and poorly insulated.
Noise between the units is horrible, because they are cheaply constructed. You'll hear your neighbor use the toilet, run water, etc.
The fixtures, cabinets, appliances etc. are low end and old.
There's really no grassy common area unless you go out by the road. The rest is shrubs in clay. The pool area is nice, however, probably because it's right by the office.
You can rent a 3 or 4 bdrm house with a 2-car garage for not much more. You'll have a lot more space, a 2-car garage for storage, a yard, peace and quiet...and not be burdened with pages of rules.
