If you miss the sounds of the hood and like to be lulled to sleep by the sound
of your neighbor's rap music, then you'll love this apartment complex. I signed a 12 month lease and moved out after 4 months. I think I called night secutity about once
every other week because someone was parked in my space that wasn't supposed to be. Don't expect them to do anything about it... "unfortunately, we can't send anyone out at this time of night" was a common response. Our bedroom window faced the
street. I think I finally had it when there was some kid bouncing a basketball right outside my window when I was trying to sleep. I let it go at first and then
peeked out the window about 20 minutes later
and there were about 17 teenagers standing
out there laughing and talking extremely loudly. Some were smoking weed, others were
playing basketball and yelling at each other. That's a typical Friday night at
Smoketree. My advice to future tennants is to move your bed away from the windows and
