The owners have recently spent a lot of money to fix up the property, including parimeter gating, access gates with security cards, new clubhouse, etc. They've also come down hard on residents that don't follow rules or pay rent on time. Those that are unhappy are generally those that cause problems or break rules. For people like me, that want their neighbors to respect them and respect the property, it is a great place to live. The person who wrote below, doesn't know how to utilize the KCRA crime tracker website. If they did they'd see that crime at Laurel oaks is much less than the crime that happens outside the property. They'd also notice that only 3 (not 28) cars were stolen from the 520 apartments at Laurel Oaks over the last 2 months. When people mis-state facts so significantly, it's obvious that they have an ax to grind......
