So far i have been living in these apartment for 2 months and i am already counting down the days to the end of my lease in November! I hate this place! I have had so many issues here that i don't even know where to begin. Well lets start at the beginning... When we first moved in they showed us this very nice looking model apartment with white doors and cabinets and nice marble counters but when we got our apartment it did not look anything like the model. It had brown, old looking cabinets and dark brown doors and overall looked like ---- compared to the model. We told the management that we wanted what we had saw in the model but they told us that the only thing they could do was paint the cabinets white and they would not be able to put in new doors or new cabinets and counters. And the parking is ridiculous! They do the parking permit system and after 10:00pm if you are parked in the complex with out a permit they WILL tow your car... My room mate inviter her friend over one night and forgot to let her know about the parking situation and low and behold they woke up the next morning and her car had been towed. And there are no places around the complex where guests can park. Its so rediculous because they give each resident one parking permit for their own car and if you want to invite over a guest and have them stay past 10:00 you have to go to the office and get a "visitors permit" and they limit the amount of nights your guest's can stay... And the management is so damn rude... one day i went in there to talk to them about buying a replacement parking permit and the lady got snappy and bitchy with me about it... They even got bitchy when i asked them for a damn visitors permit! They treat you like a damn child! And on top of that the walls are as this as paper! When i am in my room i can hear everything that goes on in the living room, in the bathroom, in my room mates bedroom and even in the apartment above me... and i mean EVERYTHING. One night i went to bed at 11:00 and i was awakened by the conversation that the people above me where having... and i could hear every word of it loud and clear! i felt like i was in the same damn room as them. I'm even awakened some mornings by the sound of their baby crying. So if i can hear all of that from the apartment above me you can only imagine what i can hear coming from my own room mates room. Then on top of all this we have a damn bug problem! Spiders are one of the issues, They live in the trees outside of the apartments but somehow they manage to get inside... and I'm not talking about little spiders, I'm talking about big black spiders! I've killed 3 and my roommate has seen and killed around 5 and we've only been living here for 2 months! I mean they are everywhere! But if that isn't enough we even have bugs in our walls... YES BUGS LITERALLY LIVING IN HOLES IN OUR WALLS! Talk about disgusting! One day i was dusting and vacuuming the living room and i noticed about 6 holes in the walls that looked like they were left from nails. The holes seemed to look like they had black stiff coming out of them so i went for a closer look and i notice some orange and black stuff hanging from some of the holes which was something i have never seen before. Then I cleaned off the stuff and looked inside the hole and a little maggot like thing poked its head out! Then i noticed that they were living in all of the holes! it was like the most disgusting thing i had ever seen. So i went to the office the next day to tell them about it and they told me that they would look at it and take care of the problem. The next day they came to take a look and did not know what type of bugs they were but they assured me that they would call pest control and spray our apartment to take care of the problem. This was two weeks ago and they still have not done anything about the problem yet. Bottom line, these apartments are a terrible place to live and i would not recommend this place to my worse enemy!

First let me say, "Welcome to Lincoln Place Apts" Lincoln Place does indeed need some new management. I give it maybe 2 years & the complex will be a full blown ghetto. Yes, the walls are paper thin! I like hearing my neighbors "go at it" it lasts for 5 minutes! Thin walls or not, this used to be a decent place to live. My how things have changed. It used to be all college students.
