New Management- Let's see how things go

I recently moved into an apartment while the old management was moving out. The transition was slightly difficult as they are working on the accounting mess left by the old management.

On initial quality, the aesthetics of the apartment are the nicest around. We arrived to a clean apartment. The kitchen is fashionably black, with electrical major appliances. The bathrooms are also attractive, with a larger tub in the master. The balcony is large and shaded. A washer and dryer was included. Parking garages are available. Perfect parking is more difficult at night, but it is a small community so the furthest walk is about 100 ft.

The secondary bedrooms are smaller, but serviceable with good closet space. The master is larger, with two closets. Closet space could be a little larger, but there is a coat and linen closet in the main hallway.

Outside amenities include a nice pool with changing rooms. A basic gym with uptodate equipment. Lastly, a common room is well done a la Pottery Barn. Neighbors are mostly young professional, couples, families. Thus far, it is quiet. A security service comes to do rounds and locks the common areas at night.

As for cons, the major one is cost. It is one of the most expensive complexes we saw in Natomas. It is however, one of the nicest. Construction is actually quite good, the first thing we noticed was how well it is insulated.
Other quibbles will include the current transition difficulties, as the new management takes hold. All utilities are metered, thus nothing included. The water pressure could be better.

As for the community, it is a smaller complex, which for us is a benefit. It is close to Sacramento, although the rush hour traffic delays about 10 minutes. It is conveinient to the 5 and the 80. Raley's, walmart, home depot, movies are less than 5 minutes away. A gold's gym is under construction. Fine dining is limited in this area, but downtown is close.
I will update as things go along.

Overall I like it.
