It is sad to see residents complaining to strangers rather than the office!

I just left McKenzie as the manager recently. It is interesting to read these complaints on the internet rather than to see them surface in the office. It is true that there were some trouble residents living there. Most of which should be gone now. The law states that we must let anyone live there that applies and qualifies. (Unfortunate sometimes) So when we find out that someone is causing problems, they are not going to leave the next day, nope, doesn't work like that. It can take months to get rid of a nuicance. I was also a resident there and was always pretty pleased at how quiet it was. Parking leaves something to be desired, but works. I would absolutly live there again as just a resident. It is a clean, pretty, nice property, with a great location. The management will alway be effective and courteous. If you live there and have issues, go to the office and speak with the new manager, he will take care of it. Always keep in mind that apartment managers are bound by laws so things can take time.

Maybe its because people would rather get opinions from residents that experienced living at mckenzie. I am a current resident and i'll tell you that they dont get their work done. I have made hundreds of complaints and requested work orders that have not been completed and not followed up by mgmt. This is a tip for other interested clients that are curious about management and living conditions and there you go, i just served that for you on a plate.

this posting is rather shocking to me. i consider myself to be a pretty courteous and laid back resident, but there comes a time when enough is enough. each time i have an issue, i address management immediately. more often than not, i never receive a response of any kind. more importantly, the issues are neglected to the point where resident's safety becomes at stake. don't bother promising things if you have no intention of delivering them. i work for a business myself, and that is not the way an efficient and successful business runs.
