Horrible place to spend too much money to live

I have lived here for a year only beacuse they charge you an arm and a leg to get out of a lease. This is mandated by a management company who couldnt help you if you asked them for the property address. The lease included quit enviornment which is never the case. I get woken up at 5:30am by the construction that takes place 30 feet away. Sometimes they drop off work items at midnight off the back of a big rig. Ghetto kids run rampid without any regard for tenants who dont get goverment assistance to live there. I spend $1480 per month to be told we are trying to get the people around you to stop partying every night of the week with their 3 yr old hanging out with them or your neighbor to stop beating his wife at all hours of the night while HIS 3 yr old waits outside by himself. I have not been able to get out of my lease without being extorted into paying the equivilant of 4 months rent because I have to hold up MY end of the lease contract. I have to also comment about the fact of cars driving down duckhorn rd at all hours of the night speeding and playing their music at an insane volume and a tenant who got drunk, ran their car into a light pole, had the cops come out and find them hiding in their apartment... they still live there. I see that people mentioned the grounds keeping as being well maintained, but near my apartment, we have broken glass, trash and other debris all over the place. This place is a joke when it comes to housing and I personally see that others, that shouldnt be able to pay for this place, maintain an easy career selling drugs out of their homes to be able to pay rent!

You can't blame the apartment management for construction happening around you. Call the city if its that bad. If someone is leaving their kid outside or beating up their wife call the cops, what can management do, they would call the cops. If you see someone selling drugs, call the cops. Geez, seems like these people just want to make someone else responsible for things they could do themselves if it really is as bad as they say. I have had no problems living here. I guess it's because I have common sense enough to know what management has control of and what they don't. If you rented a house would you blame the landlord for your neighbors being too loud or for someone speeding down your street with the stereo blasting. I think not!!!!

BS!! Management won't do a thing because they are lazy and scared! They think that telling someone that is a drug dealer to stop beating his wife is going to cause them to retaliate. It's the truth! But then when someone they aren't afraid of is shutting the door too loud they send notices!!!! At normal times of the day! Stupid people! The cops will not come for domestic calls after 10:00 pm, and that's when most things happen. It seems to me like you just don't ming living in the ghetto.

Again, here we have poeple stating how I as the manager personally feel. Laziness and being scared have nothing to do with it. I treat every complaint the same REGARDLESS of who they are. If it was a matter of getting rid of every person that was a disturbance things would be much easier but unfortunately we have to follow the letter of the law and that takes time, time that we don't dictate. I'm not stupid and I care very much about how residents feel. Don't you think I want residents to be happy and enjoy were they live rather than having residents scream and yell at me and post these rude comments. Instead of posting these messages, come to the office and talk to me about the problems you are having so I have the opportunity to do something instead of assuming nothing will be done. I guess it makes it easier to bash someone anonymously.

number one the management has no control ofver the construction. I live here also. Did you not notice the huuuuuuge empty lot across the front of the building not to mention the huge map of future business on the wall in the Medici office showing all plans. In addition, although I agree with you on the physical abuse, Medici/management has no control over that accept to make police reports and with that being said they just like any other business have to have a certain amount of documentation/files before conducting the proper and legal way of evicting a tenant. As far as the traffic. I agree with the loud crappy drivers, however let's get real!!! Is it really Medici's fault that people are idiots on the road?
