We were actually the very first people to rent from Medici when it opened in 2005. And 3 years later we are right where we started. The management when we first moved in was not bad. We had a $99 security deposit and we got a free computer with move in plus 1 month free rent! The management has since changed and they have definitely changed for the better! They have installed security cameras on every building in the complex, plus there is security patrolling the complex from 6pm to 6am every day. And no they are not flashlight cops, they actually carry guns!
We chose to live in an apartment in the very front building of the complex facing the main street. We have never had any car break-ins in that area that I know of, and honestly there really isn't anything wrong or out of the ordinary in that area. The only complaint is that our upstairs neighbor walks very heavily and the guy across likes to play guitar late at night. But that is nothing you wouldn't find anywhere else.
The management is very nice, cooperative with issues and reciving your packages for you. They have also given us a VERY good deal on our rent since we have been there so long. There is no where around that you can have rent lower than $1000/mo.
I would definitely recommend!
