In spite of a recent, but small, rent increase, this is still quite affordable (in particular the 2 bedrooms). The ground are very attractive and sort of represents the "Mediterranean" feel. It's an older complex, but the 4plex setting minimizes noise from the sides, because of the stairwell. The upstairs have a nice balcony (and attractive wooden beams in the ceiling) some downstairs have a small garden (a large almost yard for the downstairs 2 bedrooms). The 2 bdrs are quite spacious, with 2 baths. The shower stall setup is handy in the master bath. On the down side, there is forced air heat/air, maintenance can be slow and recently the owner has given daily operations over to a management company, with all that forebodes. The parking area is not very safe (my truck has been stolen twice and numerous cars have had windows broken). The ground though are safe even at night. Washrooms usually have at least one broken wash/dryer, or both. Depending on your location you need to run the water at length to get hot water. But the rent is still very competitive (and they better not raise it much or
the deficiencies will become important to renters). Oh yeah, there is an ongoing spider problem (non venemous).
