I moved here in October of 2003 and was pleased with the staff and had nothing but great things to say about Miramonte. I often referred the apartments to several co-workers and friends. But once this new management took over, it all went downhill.

One morning, at SEVEN AM, a construction crew was working outside my window. When I complained in the office, the girl told me "we're improving the property, you're going to have to deal with it". I asked if I could talk to the manager and she said "there's nothing she'll do for you, you're going to have to suck it up". I was shocked at the comments. Luckily, I ran into Jennifer in the parking lot and she pretty much said the same thing (although, she admited the crew was not supposed to start until 8am).

Then, there's the ridiculous parking situation. It seems this management is spending money just to spend it. They re-paved a parking lot that was built a year ago! THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! Now they are doing it AGAIN. TWICE within TWO months! If you have that much money to spend, actually use it for something GOOD...like a NEW STAFF. I'm already looking for a new place to move once the lease is up.

What a shame. What started out as a great community has gone to hell with this new group.
