I lived at Miramonte through four leases, three management companies, and two owners. I moved out in May. The original management was good, the second management was poor, and the current management was sad. Some examples: I reported my windows leaking during strong storms. The first management sent someone over within an hour to fix and dry the carpets. The second management did nothing. The third and current management charged me to fix the paint around the window.

Parking: The current management assigned my parking space to me and another tenant and I did not get another space.

Packages were also a major issue. The first management accepted packages from UPS and had extended hours to pick them up. The second management refused outright to accept packages. The current management stores the packages in another building, so I when I got a package, I had to wait 15 minutes while someone went to fetch my package. To receive the package, I had to show a picture ID to three different people and fill out a form with my name, address, ID, what the package was, who it was from, tracking number, and sign saying that I had received it.

Some other things to note. The televisions in the gym did not have a remote for the last six months, so the channels and sound couldn?t be changed.

A lot of pet waste is left on the lawns, by the pet owners and the management, so walking on the grass is risky.

The management replaced the patio doors on my unit but did not repair or paint the inside walls where they had cut the old door out. They also cut the carpet out when the door was replaced. It was never repaired or replaced, so I had a large concrete strip between where the carpet ended and the wall until I moved out.

When my hot water heater went out, I called the office or went in repeatedly each week. It took four weeks before I had hot water. The maintenance people could not fix the problem and the management would not replace the heater.
