1) Parking spaces are TINY. Expect dents in your doors because the spots are way too small and cramped. Literally, I have to let my passenger out of the car BEFORE parking in my spot, because he/she can't open the door once I'm parked. And I have a small car! I hate to imagine what it's like for SUV drivers.
2) Office staff is snotty. Especially that guy Dave. Get off your high horse, dude.
3) Maintenance staff is rude. They leave bitchy notes when they come and fix something. For example, I had to have my toilet fixed because it was clogged (for the 2nd time -- no I don't take unusually large dumps or anything, I just think the plumbing is crappy). When they fixed it, the maintenance guys left a note saying "will charge if have to fix again." WTF!
4) Security sucks. For one thing, everyone's cars are getting broken into. They've actually circulated notices TWICE about the unusually high break-in rates. For another thing, they take like 2 hours to respond to noise complaints, and even then nothing gets done about it.
5) Business center, my ass! Someone stole all the computers in the "business center" and it was almost a year before they were replaced. Not that you can use the computers anyway 'cause all the ghetto kids are in there myspacing away for hours on end.
6) Cleanliness of the parking lot is substandard. In the last week, I've picked up 7 loose screws from the mailbox area. I don't want another flat tire. Also, piles of glass from broken-into car windows are just brushed to the side of the lot, not actually removed.

Oh my gosh...you nailed it. This is EXACTLY what life is like at Miramonte. C-R-A-P-P-Y!!! I moved out of there and into lovely apartments in Elk Grove and it has been a WONDERFUL experience so far. Nothing like that "hideous" place. Ughhhh...
