Keep in mind, no one is going to write these long reviews if their experience wasn't really a bad one. Mine was! I lived at Morningside Creek Apts. for a whole year. The only thing I liked living there AT ALL was the unit itself. I lived on the corner of the busiest and nosiest intersection in the area (Bell/Norwood) where fire trucks and police are constantly zipping through with sirens blaring day in and day out. I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned the ghetto section 8/ street people who linger around the complex yelling obscenities and gang lingo at each other from the bus stop across the street. Not to mention there was an issue with graffiti on the front office sign and TENANTS PARKED CARS at night!!! The only pool the complex has was closed the entire year I lived there. There was a note on the gate that said the Department of Health did not approve the use of it. My mailbox was repeatedly broken into and I'd come home to find the lock broken with personal medical, legal, and financial correspondence spilling out. Maintenance was a total joke. When I moved in, the bathtub was white and spotless, but as soon as it started getting hot and I needed the AC, the drip pipe above the shower was leaking rusty water which caused it to stain orange/red. No matter how often I cleaned/bleached that bathtub, I could never quite get it back to white again. WTF. What genius decided to construct this air conditioning drip system above the shower' Maintenance was called on the issue 10 or more times and I was promised over and over that it would be fixed. Not until I called and really gave them a piece of my mind did someone finally come out and that was a 2 months after the initial call.
The -------, is a very rude, unprofessional person. (to put it VERY nicely). I have never in my entire life met someone so rude and unprofessional. I am surprised she has even kept her job there. She and her staff can't keep their stories straight. One person will tell you one thing and the other has a completely different story- they all seem to have their heads up their asses. ----- especially. She talks to you like you in a condescending tone and if you call with a concern and she doesn't like what you have to say, she will hang up on you! It doesn't matter what their paperwork says, because they will just type up a new version with different information on it and tape it on your door if you have anything to dispute with them- EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL PAPERWORK IN YOUR POSSESSION TO SHOW TO THEM! Renters BEWARE! Also, if you want your deposit back, good luck! My security deposit was $1000.00 and they only returned $350 of it. They claimed they needed the difference for carpet and blinds AFTER I had cleaned this place spotless and steam cleaned the carpets. I expected to get my deposit back in full and even after disputing the amount originally given back, I never even received the amount promised back to me UNTIL 6 MONTHS AFTER I MOVED OUT!!!! I had to call the -------'s boss at JCM Partners in the bay area!!! RIDICULOUS! These anonymous postings saying this place is so great and she is such a wonderful person are total BS. I have to assume it's the ------- herself or someone working there trying to shine up their horribly tarnished reputation!
