I moved to this apartment in 2002 and had only expected to to be a temp. fix until i could find a house and things didn't work out so i ended up staying and things got worse and worse. there was a 3 week period of time that 5 women had their apartment broken into and we were not notified until the 5th one when the women woke up because she could not breath because there was a pillow over her head and she was being sexually assalted. The apartments at that time decided to tell the residence and said that they are getting security at the front gates however it defeates the purpose of having security if they just sit at the front gate and just wave at all of the cars as they drive by. then about 2 mo later a woman got attacked in the laundry room and nothing stil changed.
I also had a crack in my baty tub that took 3 mo, 3 different companies untill it finally got fixed then about 1yr later it cracked again and i asked to have it repared but that we needed to set an appt becuase i didnt giver permision to enter then one day i just happened to stay home sick and the repare man form the bath tub co(an outside co, he didnt work for the apts) came to my apt and had the key to my apt in his hand and was not accompanied by anyone that worked for the apts. and was just going to enter my apt had i not been there, then he just took a look at the crack and said he would be back the next day to fix it so i called in sick to work again so i could be ther and he never showed up. well i informed the apts of the crack in feb. and i moved out in april and the tub was still cracked.
I also had a cat who was an indoor cat (she had never been outside except for the trip in from the car when i bought her and my neighbor who had an outdoor cat who must have had fleas because for 2 summers in a row my apartment got infested with fleas that took about 1 mo each time to finally get rid of them, they got in from my front door because the door even when fully closed you could see the light throught the crack. it sucked when it was windy becuase it got so cold in the living room.
needless to say if your apartment is in need of repair it will take you moving out before anything gets done. and the management is not helpful at all either but i think i have said enough.
