They did a great re-model on the gym. I am thankful to actually have machines in there that are safe and not missing parts or broken. However, I think the childrens play area is inappropriate. The gym is not a place for small children. There are too many things they could hurt themselves on. Kudos to responsible parents who make them hang in the designated area and not touch anything..you are maybe 1 in 10. Every day I see a kid messing with something and secretly hope they smash a finger to teach their parent a lesson. I have never been to a gym and have it be ok for kids to be there and touch equipment. When brought to the apt staff's attention they said it was ok because there is a sign saying natomas ridge is not responsible. For all the parents out there who think its ok for your kid to goof off in there with free weights, bench presses, cardio machines while you work out......remember who is going to have to foot the bill if they get hurt...you.
On to security. Lovely bunch. Very nice to talk to. I was shocked to discover there is not 24 hour security. I am sure all of the crack heads that live hear knew that before me though. Hence the vandalisim and robberies that are happening when security is off. We need them 24 hrs. Hell, even one of the office staff's onsite apt was broken into about 2 weeks ago. Fact! This place is too big not to have security. Or actualy have a gate that requires a clicker or code to get in.
Washer and dryer in your apt' Im sorry, because now you are paying an extra 60 a month for less closet space and a higher smud bill. For those who don't have the washer/dryer.....I am sure you have gotten flyers posted on your door saying that you must sign to have them installed! This is not true. If you don't want it, you don't have to get them. The contract just makes it seem that way. All you need to do is call the office and tell them no! If you already have them though, you're screwed. But really, 60 extra for it a month' Maybe if you have a few kids and a ton of laundry. Although its easier to just use 5 washers at a time in the laundry room. They didn't write that on that forceful flyer.

Seconded. Things were fine until my truck got broken into back on the 18th of this month. They stole my garmin GPS, stereo, subs and amp. The garmin and faceplate to my stereo were LOCKED in the glovebox, however they broke in anyways and took it. the subs and amp were both hidden under the backseat and screwed into the floors, and it was ripped right out. they scratched the front fender, broke the door handle and the creased the door, dented the bedside, and destroyed my dash and glovebox. on the dash I have the passenger air bag switch, which was broken when the dash was ripped off. all means to total my truck. my wallet was also left in the truck (mistake on my part) and they ran my debit card at a gas station 5 times in one day, bought $50 worth of mcdonalds, and then more gas at another station. the security here sucks. I had my parking permit on the gps, which is now missing, and not once have I been stopped at the front entrance. they always wave me through. A car not more than 8 stalls down from where mine was parked had the same happen. Stolen stereo and everything. My girlfriend was always getting rude and sexual remarks by the surrounding residents, and the parking after 8pm sucks. in the 5 months I've lived here I've parked over a quarter mile away from my apartment because I couldn't find an open spot. management could care less about anything that happens here, they're just here for a paycheck. parties are always going on during late nights, people screaming at 4am. I wouldn't recommend this place to a serial killer. They've changed the name of it twice from what I know of, both times due to a murder that's happened here. This way, when you look up Natomas Ridge, it doesn't affiliate with the murder that was here when it was called tamaron ranch. This place sucks. The rent here is jacked up for the size of the apartments, and rennovated my ass. I found hairs stuck underneath the paint, the trim in my bathroom is scratched from what looks like a cat and just painted over, and I could pull the carpet up against the wall. Turn your back on this place now. It's not worth your time, your dignity, or your car.

I just talked to security about everything and they said that they are no longer 24 hours. They leave at 5am. Was anyone else aware of this? I don't think the complex ever notified us.

I am a tenant and I wasn't informed that security is no longer 24hrs either. It is still very dark at 5 am. I have witnessed first-hand some questionable activities during the early hours in this complex. In additon, I leave at this time for work and with all of the break-ins and other unlawful activities that fester in this complex I feel even more unsafe here. To anyone looking to move into this complex, please don't! I am giving you fair warning...
