My opinion seems to waver back and fourth. On my initial moving in, I was not satisfied whatsoever! When being taken on the final walk through there were still in the process of installing my washer and dryer. So the apartment was not actually ready. I had noticed the carpets and kitchen floor we dirty, when I asked the girl have it taken care of before I moved in, she replied that once the walk through was done they would not come back. So I replied we can stop the walk through then because the washer/dryer aren t even installed as of yet. I would not be signing any paperwork until everything was installed and clean. She sure did change her mind quick.

Of course there were some stumbles, the tub leaked but they were timely to come and fix it. I have had tools left in my apartment but have found they always leave a note when they enter and have no problems with the inspections. One of the maintenance guys did get my bathroom rug dirty, he had tracked mud in, but they did offer to replace it for me. I was able to bleach it (white rug) and got it almost looking like new. So after that they are not allowed to enter my apartment without me being there. It may mean that I have to wait until the weekend to get things done but that s how I like it. Even though they call them yearly, they have happened twice in the last 8 months that I have been in the apartment.

I do live in the back, so there is not much traffic. Recently, my drug dealer neighbor has vacated (way too many guests and for a short amount of time. Also saw him and his buddies smoking on several occasions) which has pretty much ended all extra traffic. He never bothered me, we would say hi but we just left each other alone. I had to call several times about late night music, but I get up early and am more than willing to repay the favor with some loud alternative music. So, needless to say late night music parties also came to an end. Waiting to see who they move in before decideing to renew my lease.

As for the office I find most of the girls to friendly all the time except for Aya. I will not deal with her ever. I think she is rude and inconsistent. Anyone else is fine. The accounting manager is not very bright either, he is a double talker, and is hard to understand and is confusing things all the time. They do not always follow through or even do things in accordance with CA state law. Like changing the payments of gas, garbage and ECT without notice. Sending the notice out after the fact will not eliminate any possible legal issues. They said they would pressure wash the front of my apartment due to a huge infestation of black widows but they never did. Lack of follow through. They did spray inside and out. I NEVER found a black widow inside my apartment.

Security is a joke. But what can you do' They could probably save thousands of dollars a year if they just fixed that gate and gave everyone an opener and had one guard to drive around through the apartments at night.

I have never had my car broken into or have felt harassed. I am a single female who does live by myself and have never been scared or felt threatened. I have never heard gunshots at night, parking lot brawls,or actually seen a drug deal but I have seen the police on several occasions, one time it was swat and they were looking in the trash cans and everything. But if they were taking someone out then so be it take all trash out.

These apartments are like their own city. There is every kind of ethnicity, age and gender. So it s not going to be perfect. But, the remodeled apartments are gorgeous. The lawn is always nicely manicured, and if people would stop littering it would be nice all the time. I do see both the guards and staff constintenly picking up trash off the gound.

Like I said. I am just waiting to see who moves into the apartments around me before deciding to renew my lease or not. Neighbors are what is going to make it or break it for me. The rest of the issues can be worked through.
