There are some good things about this complex. It's cheap for Natomas and pretty safe, a reliably gated complex. It's convenient for going downtown, and there's an Albertson's and Blockbuster right across the street, which is nice. Units have vaulted ceilings and upstairs have balconies. Fairly spacious bedrooms also.
On the downside, there have been two fires recently that gutted 8 units, both appear to have been caused by residents. Parking is tough if you have a second car, a lot of people are forced to park outside the gates on Truxel Road. The maintenance people get started early, it's not out of the ordinary to hear the mowers and blowers start up promptly at 8am. Good luck sleeping in. Also, don't try to leave at 8:00, that's when Natomas High School starts class. The traffic jam around the complex between 7:45 and 8:00 can be bad. And forget the pool. There are tons of kids in this complex and they only have a dinky little pool. You know what that means. Go to the river.
