Here's the scoop on this complex. When I first moved in it was great. Gated Complex, gym, pool, huge clubhouse, friendly staff, and, with the move in special only 595 with a $99 deposit for an upstairs studio. Fast forward to now. Gated community is a joke, the gate is only closed from 8pm-6am (when the gates work), the gym has been torn down, pool still ok but its the winter so hardly anyone uses it, clubhouse also undergoing "renovations" (not the relaxing place it used to be), obnoxious staff who may or may not smile as they take your rent check and tell you to go away (all the while thinking of how to stick the blade deeper in your back), and my great move-in special...once it was up so did the price. I'm now paying 700 for the upstairs studio (and people wonder why I'm going through the hassels of a move my last year at sac state). Added to all this, the complex is going condo, so forget about any long term plans around here. Management won't tell anybody crap, except to say that sometime this year the conversion will begin and they will try and help people move into new complexes in the area...but only if you stay during the conversion and are willing to deal with the construction as it occurs. (not to mention that nobody has any clue as to what kind of help they "might" offer)Take my advice and look elsewhere unless you want to be overcharged on an apartment and are willing to look for a new place to live within the next few months.
