I've lived at Pepperwood Knoll for a year and a half. Within the first month my stereo was stolen, and I had to listen to someone being beaten during the day. The management got a security person to walk around at night, but i haven'e seen him in months. They're right the gate is always broken, especially the back one where the criminals like to come in. Someone else who lives here had there car door lock completely messed up because someone tried to break in. They're also right about the helicopters and gunshots. Car alarms go off all though the night. I don't feel safe here, I never go on my balcony and never answer my door unless I'm expecting someone. The maintence is alright. They fixed my sink pretty fast, but not the day they said they would. I feel safer then at other places near North highlands, but as soon as I get a better job, I'm moving and not looking back. After 1 1/2 yrs, It still doesn't feel like home.
