Plumwood is an older apartment complex in East Sacramento near the Arden Fair Mall. I have lived here for 6 months now and have had no problems. The complex is professionally managed. My apartment is very large and both heated and air conditioned. All the apartments look similar in size. However, I don't know if all apartments are air conditioned. The apartment is quite a good value for the size and amenities that come with it. I believe every apartment comes with a parking space although only some of the parking spaces are covered. The entire complex is gated, including the parking area. The area is very convenient to stores and restaurants - Trader Joe's, several Safeways, and Peet's are all within easy driving distance. You can walk to the mall. Starbucks is around the corner. I was initially concerned about the area. All the apartment complexes here are gated and require a code to get both in AND out of the gate - so, obviously, theft is an issue.
