I have lived here for close to 3 years. I originally picked The Regatta because it had the lowest crime and sex offender rating in the surrounding area. And it has proved to be a safe and quiet place to live. The grounds are well kept, the neighbors are friendly, and the overall quality of life here is very good.
My boyfriend and I love how close it is to Downtown Sac.. literally 3 minutes from J street, but your tucked away where it feels you are away from the city. The park across the street is cute and has great walking trails and places to ride bikes. We ride all the way to Old Sac from the trails that connect from across the street. It's AWESOME!
Parking is really only an issue sometimes and only if you get home really late at night. I love it here and don't plan on moving any time soon.
I would highly recommend living here!
