DON T, DON T, DON T, DON T MOVE TO RIO LINDA MANOR==NOT SAFE
A male tenant attempted to physically assault me and management did not respond, they want to know nothing about nothing. Police were called. I have heard of no plans to evict this tenant. This tenant harasses the women here, including myself, with unwanted flirtation, unwanted touching and unwanted vulgar solicitations for sex. Before the attempted assault on me, I heard that he hit another woman with something and the police were called. I also heard he brings many prostitutes into his apartment. I have to go get a restraining order and purchase a gun next week.
The complex has a dayroom that is open to all during the weekdays only and closes at 5 p.m. To access the dayroom after hours and on the weekends, you have to enter from the lobby. Once inside the dayroom, a resident can open the door from the inside and let people in from the outside. The normal way to get in after hours is through the lobby with a key. What the male tenant I speak about above does, is sit for hours in the dayroom at night and on the weekends hiding behind vertical blinds which he has slightly partly, watching for women coming up the walkway. When they get close to the front of the dayroom door he throws it open to catch the women off guard. He tells them to come through the dayroom so you don t have to use their key how neighborly. He will get into a verbal fight with you if you refuse to come in the dayroom rather than go a short distance around the corner to the lobby door and use your key. Some unsuspecting women go into the dayroom with him. If ----- lived here and paid his rent on time he would be your neighbor because I have never heard these people evict paying customers no matter what they do. IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR LIFE DON T COME HERE.
Add to this roaches throughout this place and management doesn t take care of this major problem they ignore it. They put their money into improving the place so more soon-to-be-regretful tenants move in. The roaches run up on the counter when you go to cook, a baby cockroach came running after I put my key into the deadbolt, the roaches walk along the hallway walls so be prepared to take off your shoe to kill them when you come and go, one was on my computer desk, they run around on the floor, in the sink, disgusting as your can get. I called the County and am waiting to hear from them.
I heard one of the tenants had mice or rats' Even though that tenant moved, I have heard that a mouse or rat was still seen just recently.
This is a tax credit property and all tenants are supposed to be registered but after a senior qualifies, here come other family members, pack em in. Along with the people who slum in this flophouse, a lot of people come here to party hardy = noise, noise, noise from morning until night. You won t have a moment of peace after you come here. Whatever you complain about, management sees nothing, hears nothing and does nothing.
Security you can forget that they will tell you they have 24 hour cameras what does that mean, they tell you any problems, call the cops not us. People sit outside the lobby door at night and wait for someone to enter or exit and slip in. One night someone knocked on my door twice and before I could respond they tried the door knob.

It sounds like this person would not be happy anywhere. Has probably never lived in any one place for any length of time. Sounds like this person has some issues.

I have talked to other tentants and everything this person said is being repeated by the other tentants that are still there.
Call the inviromental health Dept at 916 875-5656 if you still live at the manor and file a complaint!
