FACTS WHY I HATE THIS PLACE!!

The apt's are a good price for this area that includes washer/dryer and the BEAUTIFUL MODEL had me sold! They took two weeks for an application approval & several calls bugging them. They promised several call backs & never did. Cara was rude & the manager did nothing about her attitude as she sat back and watched. The model was beautiful so we moved in expecting the same. The ended up changing our apt 3X's cause the others were not ready for a move in. We had to post-pone once b/c they were not ready on the final apt. After we signed the paperwork--We walked in to our home and the place was dirty, the carper still had dirt spots on it & it was wet from the cleaners, a/c vent was dirty and so was the cabinets/blinds/windows and the fridge, some cabinets were broken, drawers broken, both closet doors always off track, placed smelt like c.smoke, 2 color paint every where (you can see the touch ups)there was mitch match tile in kitchen (it was patched in several places)and there was a huge water stain on bathroom floor. The toilet is crooked--left cheek is higher than the right--LOL, but its true. I am not able to use bath cause showerhead turns on at the same time, if the sink is turned on then it makes a real loud noise, bathroom has no lock on it and mold is a problem in the complex. I found out 2 windows had a crack & the cold air came in. Water still dripps from the above back patio apt-even after they fixed my building. The staff was very rude, unhelpful, and unproffessional. I got the run around serveral times when asking them for approval on letter for DISH to come and install. They told me that I was unable to turn on any PGE, SMUD, home phone, Cable until I was in the complex--YET I already put down the full deposit, rent and signed the lease--Hello'! Was I suspost to wait 3 days AFTER I move it for the lights to be turned on' Luckly, we did it right after we signed the paperwork anyways but, I didn't have a home phone and cable for a week. They still have not came to fix my apt problems as I requested several times. "They never received my request & would fill out another one" I finally gave up! I am sure I will be screwed out of my deposit once I leave. I asked the complex for the corp office# and they denied me--against my rights I found out later. I got the corp office and called. I thought I was finally going to get my maintance work done and that Cara written up for her unproffessionalism. Well, they reff'd me right back to the apt supervisor at my complex. EER! So, I left a mssg for her. No call back. I called again--no call back. She was NEVER in her office when I called to complain. I wrote a letter to corp office anyays to complain about the staff and after 6 months here no one has yet knocked on my door to fix whats needed. Shortly after my complaint we received a warning notice on my door for loud TV at night (when that weekend we were not even in the city) I thought it must have been a mistake from one of our neighbors and left it alone. I was really tired of complaining. Dont EVER be late on your rent! It needs to be in their hands before the first of the month--unlike some apts that will give you 4 or 5 days to get the rent in to them. I found this out when I walked in a check for my rent on the 2nd day of the month. I was told to write out another check for the late fee and then she handed me a warning notice number2. One more noice and I am getting evicted. This is bull-poop. I am not happy with this place at all. All they want is for you to rent and then...your on your own. One good thing--from out side the new look is great. Lets not go into the parking, tire replacements, junk left around from the construction workers...hey at least my husband took out the trash everyday--the huge trash bins are every where! I only have 6 more months & I am gone! I rather buy a house--this apt did it for me!
