River Pointe Apartments

Rude Staff From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/29/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   Back in October I was considering in renting a unit from this apartment complex. When I applied, I talked to Brianna, and she said that as long as I put in my application that same day (Saturday) she was going to guarantee me the "managers special" and one bedroom apartment. So I did submit my application hoping to get the "managers special" and the unit they showed me on the map. I went the following Monday to find out about the status of my application and Brianna was not there but Cara told me the unit I was hoping to move in had already been rented out to someone else because I did not submit the application fee. She was totally unprofessional and rude when she talked to me. I explained to her that Brianna hadn't asked me to submit an application fee. Then she replied that they never accept applications with out an application fee. But I said that Brianna accepted my application with out an application fee and that she had guaranteed me the "managers specialâ one bedroom apartment on the west side. Then she said that they could not give me the offer anymore. It was not my fault that I did not submit the app. fee. Brianna never asked for it, I thought I was going to pay later with the rent and deposit. Honestly, her behavior was totally unacceptable and the worse thing is that the manager was present when she and I were talking. She did not think that maybe Brianna had made a mistake and never tried to lessen the situation by taking another approach to the problem. Just a good advice for the staff at River Pointe: GO TAKE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE COURSES, THEY OFFER THEM AT SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE! I ended up not renting from them.
