I once was very impressed with the River Pointe apartments. However, I lost my job and was on disability for one year due to a major surgery, and I sometime payed my rent late due to the disability office sending my check late and I always informed the staff that the rent would be late and that I would pay the late fee. On one occasion I had the disability office to contact the River Pointe office to let them know that it was the're fault I did not receive my check on time and disability even paid the $50 late fee that must be payed even if it is one day after the first of the month. Well to make a long story short!I now have a new job for about 5 weeks and I came home recently and had a 60 day notice to vacate the properity since River Point would not renew my lease because I payed rent late 5 times in four years. I feel that this company do not want to work with people that have disabilities and I rate them the lowest they could be rated, in fact rest asure that I will bring light on this situation. I am a good person and I have never in my life been asked to leave my home. I am hurt and have not been able to rest since this has happen to me. If anyone check my record you will know that I come highly recommended to live in any facility and I have many referances to back up these words. I think they really want me to move because they think that I am still on disability but if given the chance I would have let them know that I am now working. I have never been so hurt in my life, now I have this on my record.
