River Pointe Apartments

A letter to move "nicely" for 3 lates. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/8/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   Ok so you know -- rent is due on the 1st of every month. By law (renters rights)we all have a 5 day grace period to get our rent dropped off to the apartment complex. After the 5th day, they can tack on a late fee and a 3 day notice to pay or quit. WELL--you give up this right by signing River Pointes rental agreement! Because you give up your right -- rents due on the 1st with no exceptions. On the 2nd day of the month -- don't forget to include your late fee. Be careful not to be late too many times. I just got a nice letter telling us to move out "nicely" because we had 3 lates (posted on there file: two lates on the 2nd, and one on the 4th) with in a 18 month stay at these apartments. Lat me thell you that 3 lates in that period of time is really good. I used to be a leaseing agent a couple of years ago for a totally different management company so I understand people "normally" pay with in the 5 day grace perion due to there own reasons. I included the late fee along with the rent when I was late and didn't think anything of it until I came home and there was a letter on my door (posted out to the world so everyone and there mom can see!) that I was being nicely kicked out. Just remember : Three strikes and your are out! The only reason why we picked this apartment b/c it has washer and dryer for only $800 for the 2X1 apartmentsa and thats the best deal in this area. Now we are on to better things...like a house!
