cheap rent EQUALS low quality apartment & service(positive remarks@end)

I thought this apt was great b/c the model was beautiful, out side was well maintained, close to freeway, & pretty much the lowest prices in the area. I was happy until I moved in. The staff seemed nice but confussed. They needed to always check w/ someone 1st to get an answer.The maintance men drive around and mad dog you as they pass by. After I moved out it took 42 days to get my deposit return. The quality of the apt was dissapointing. The reviews that complained about the inside and outside is right on!! Not only are the big things like the mold was a problem -- if you like dealing with small or annoying things like the blinds being cut to size, paint chipping, low grade appliances, A/C and heater did not run property & smelt like something was burning, windows/doors let cold air in the house, tub/shower needs to be used at the same time to work, the dishwasher leaked on top of the sick, old molded cocking plastered all around the bathroom, and things like the toilet sat sideways or the house sat at a tilt where all my swivel chairs faced one directions. Not really a big deal if you can live with it for the price. The positive things were -- they come with a washer and dryer for the same price as apt's around here rent with out them. The apt complex employees don't come knocking at your door for anything -- its a huge apt complex (one of the biggest) and they can careless what you do b/c there is soooo many people that live here. This is great news for the drug dealers (that lived next door to me)& the people that fight all the time. Oh yeah another positive note is of all apt's I know of -- this is the only one that made alot of open parking spots. Just don't forget to alarm or lock up your car. P/s Save the towing company number in your cell phone. The towing company gives a 60 minute delay before they come out (their policy) so residents & friends dont mind parking in your spot. This isnt so bad when there is open parking spots. Remember that when its 9pm at night and you cant find an open spot & the towing company waits 60 minutes before they come out.
