Having the pride to do what is right.

This was designed to be a beautiful community. The grounds and the amenities are beautiful. Unfortunatley, they have not been maintained and are crumbling away. My assumption is that upper management cares far more about income than they do about maintaining a community that residents might be proud of. Money seems to be the bottom line, rather than people.
There is a bright side. One of the senior staff members (assistant mgr) has some pride, integrity, and initiative. Some things about my apartment weren't as they should be. She proved to me, by her actions, that doing what was right was more important than merely making money. I respect her for that. That is the kind of leadership that may turn this place into a community to be proud of.
There is one other bright spot. They've hired a young woman on staff who seems to love her job and really enjoy people. The smile is contagious. At least I hope so.
