I have lived at River Pointe for 5 years now.....i have seen office staff come and go, but 1 person who has allways been helpful, is Cara. She is not the Manager, (by the way) but helps out like 1. I guess i can say this, because i had a conversation with her,(right after she dealt with a nasty woman who came in and was....in my opinion CRAZY) beside the fact that she just got chewed out by this crazy woman.....oh and by the way, part of the conversation was that Cara charged her for a clean, and the woman was irrate at that....but i was thinkin..."hey lady- try cleaning your ----." lol!!! BUt anyways- Cara was so pleasant and even joked with me.....she has never been rude or distasteful or unprofessional. I say this because,....she is a good person, and i cant beleive that people would go this low as too put a name on the internet like that just because they slobs!!! We probrally better off without you trashy people here at River Pointe..Go to South Sac where u belong.....trash. Anyways,....about the apartments- they are well kept, affordable, safe, clean, and i hav NEVER waited for more than a day to get problems fixed inside my apartment. If you are looking for all the above.....then come here. If you a quality person, then they will see that and move you in...if you a "trashy" person, then keep movin...... because they wont let you move in, good screening equals quality living and neighbors.....and thats for real!!!! Wouldnt want to live anywhere els.....

All of the reviews that rate this place as a "5" are from "anonymous"...if this place was really so great residents would leave their names. Makes me think the staff is writing their own reviews. I do know for a fact that one of the mgr's has left one of the "5" ratings, because she was smart enough to use her email address, which includes her name...check it out for yourself.

I agree this sounds fishy..more than likely written by the manager herself. She really needs to learn to use spell check. She sounds like "trash" herself!

Ironically they are both right, Cara was a great member of the staff. Unfortunately she isn't there anymore. Melonie is also nice, but I just don't get the feeling CTL cares about it's resident's.
My rims and tires were stolen on the property and the first thing anyone in the office said to me was "we are not responsible for theft from the parking lot," then when I told them that my car would be on block for a week while I waited for new tires to come in they got somewhat apprehensive about how that might look to other residents and potential residents. Eventually they were OK with it, but I never felt as though anyone cared that someone had stole 4000 worth of property from me on their property.
4 months later, after no additional long term security improvements were taken my roommate was robbed at gunpoint outside of our apartment.
Decent place to live, but until security improvements are made I would recomend people stay away unless they have no other options.
