I've lived here for over 4 years. Since then, the exterior remodel has improved the overall appearance. That is the only thing I can say that is positive, other than the location. The location doesn't really count because you can put a turd on a sundae, but that doesn't necessarily make the dessert better. One thing I've noticed over the last 4 years is, the quality of the residents has declined. People litter more, make more noise, more children running around unsupervised at all hours, more broken-down cars, etc. There is heavy turnover with the staff. I've lost count of how many managers have been here. Often, when you have to call with an issue, the staff is quick to react defensively. I had to complain about a noisy neighbor once and the next day they had taped a noise warning to my door. It was my complaint about the noisy neighbor, written completely backwards! Trash that is laying around on the grounds... pieces of paper, beer bottles, etc.,... seldom gets picked up. Trash can lay in fairly visible places for weeks before someone (probably a resident) finally does something about it. I'm moving next month. Wish I could have afforded to move sooner.

We've lived here for about 2 years now. 1 year in one apt. and a different one now. We are not thrilled with the neighbors but that's what you can expect at an apartment complex. Especially one that gets government subsidy. There is a crazy woman (she truly is insane) that owns about 8 cats and at least 2 dogs and she lives close by. She walks her 2 dogs and never picks up their "poop". We've mentioned it to her but does not seem to care. I have complained formally (letter mailed directly to the general manager) and still await a response. She was very nice (the manager) and understanding but we still have to find out what they're going to do about this situation.
Otherwise, we have not had major issues. Other than jerks blocking our parking spot and then responding aggressively when I have asked them to move. It is frustrating living among "trash" but the rent is affordable and I'm a couple of blocks away from work. We would love to find a better place but neither have the energy nor the time. Overall, our experience has been ok. Good for you for moving out. Good luck

I absolutely agree. The place has slowly been deteriorating. In the past few months we have had no water heater, bad electrical outlets that we complain about but it never gets fixed, missing packages from the office, our garbage disposal went out, the heating went out, and the dryer went out. The maintenence guys are usually quick to respond, but the people in the office are rude whenever there is a complaint. We also requested to have our carpets cleaned which has to be arranged through the office. The cleaners never showed, so we had to reschedule. When we confirmed with the office, the girl that answered the phone said "I'm sure they will be there on your scheduled date." I'm sure is not a valid response - checking the reservation is more appropriate. I am glad that I pressed the girl to confirm, because once again the carpet people wouldn't have showed up because the office didn't make the reservation. I can't wait until my lease is UP!
