My husband and I gave our 30 day notice (thank God we're moving) this past Saturday morning. Yesterday we got the confirmation on our door with all the details on what to clean and the amount of our deposit, etc. Today, while I was here at home baking in the kitchen, our front door was unlocked and opened. No knock, nothing. It turned out to be a front office girl who rudely said that she was supposed to do an inspection on this apartment today, as if I was completely wrong for being in the apartment! I said no, we just gave our notice to vacate on March 31st and showed her the confirmation we got on the door. She rudely looked it over quickly and apologized as she took the keys back out of the door!! It left me shaken that someone unlocked and opened my door!! So much for privacy!! And so then I tried calling the front office with no answer, so then I tried calling the corporate office in Oregon with no answer, so I ended up writing an email just like this one to Corporate. Thank God we're moving out of here. And don't get me started on the 911 call I had to make last year because maintenace wouldn't show up. That's another story. And the mail room too is another story. It's an unorganized mess.
