I have lived here for two years and when I first moved in this was a quiet complex with an empty parking lot during normal business hours. It was obvious that most of the tenants were actually WORKING to pay their rent here and took some kind of pride in where they lived. Recently I was told that they dropped the rent approx. $200 per month which explained the types of people that are now eating dinner in the hot tub, dry humping on the lounge chairs in front of my children, and harrassing me in the mildew smelling fitness center. The only person in the office worth speaking to is Chris who should probably be the Property Manager instead of one of the many assistants that have come and gone through here. This economy has hurt all of us but instead of lowering the rent to new tenants only just to fill empty apartments, maybe they should've lowered the rent for the people who actually work for a living and are now stuck paying more. I really loved it here when I first moved in but am now starting to feel like I live at Natomas Ridge(fka:Tamaron Ranch)!!

Once they started taking Section 8 everything went downhill. This whole area used to be nice apartments, and nice homes to go with the nice business park across the street. It was peaceful and pleasant living. River Pointe really ruined the neighborhood. We moved out because of the welfare guy downstairs who threw his dog against the wall and beat up his wife at 2 a.m. and also because of the child molester that moved into our same building. (Check out the Sacramento Police Department website for that info.) We were always happy with the staff and maintenance people, however
