Typical Apartment noise and frequent rent increases

First, the great parts. The trees. They have a commitment to them. We have mature sycamores, maples, redwoods and others on the property. Every season is beautiful. There is a racquetball court, pools and spas. The in-apt maintenance is fast, usually same day. Requests for spa maintenance have taken longer (but this may be do to waiting for a part or something). PLENTY of parking. We've had some trouble with neighborhood teens throwing lit cigarettes away. The room layouts are poor and force you into basically one furniture arrangement. The kitchens are generous. More than enough cabinet and counter space. We've had rent increases almost every 6 months...not that costs have gone up...just more profit for the owners. Rent has gone from $695 to $845 in 18 months. (22% increase). This may be typical for the whole Sacramento apartment market, or they may be gouging us. I don't know.
