There have been three reported incidents in the River Terrace Apt. complex involving a suspect of similar description. In all three of these incidents the suspect is alone and knocks on Victim's apartment doors. After a Female answers the door the suspect brandishes a small semi-auto handgun and enters the residences. On the first incident the suspect took items of property and then demanded the victim undress, the victim refused to comply and suspect left with the stolen property. On the second incident the suspect ordered the victim to undress. The suspect fondled the victim and then fled the scene. Unknown if any property was taken. The third incident was only minutes after the second one, and the Victim struggled with the suspect and then screamed in the suspect's face after the suspect brandished the handgun, which caused the suspect to flee. Numerous residents we have spoke to have seen this suspect as he knocked on their doors on Sunday afternoon. The suspect is said to be polite and often uses the ploy of looking for directions or trying to locate a friend.
Suspect description: Male, africn americn, 18-21 yrs old, 5'7"-5'9", 150-170 lbs, very short hair, medium to dark complexion, clean shaven. Was wearing black t-shirt and maroon basketball shorts with a white stripe.

I used to live at River Terrace. My husband got his hand broken while fighting off a guy that kicked in the front door. We sent the MGT a letter explaining that any future incidents are due to their lack of security and they ARE LIABLE. Good on you for this posting! Sounds like we got out in time!

i was thankful they let everyone know about the problem going on. It wasnt just here at our home but two other apartment complexes too. They had this neighborhood watch meeting last monday to try and bring everyone together. They caught the guy today.
