close to campus

Great if you want to be close to campus. Majority of Residents are students, they can get rambunctious but if it was ever a problem you could bring it up with the property managers, Cathy and Chuck, who are both friendly and helpful. This apartment complex and the one next to it were both dorms, so the buildings are older but they are constantly upgrading individual aprtments (mine had an upgraded bathroom, the upgraded kitchens in the other apartments are awesome too) and things like plumbing have been upgraded/repaired since i've lived here (quickly, they cut the dry wall, fixed the pipes, patched it and painted it in about an hour) so it's not an inconvenience when they need to do building maintence. Not a lot of parties since the apartments are one and two bedrooms, not big enough for that sort of thing. They have security guards at night to watch the parking lots and keep the residents safe, no broken glass or cars on cinder blocks in the morning like some of the apartments in the area. I live on the first floor, which worried me at first but there has been no crime in the complex aside from someone breaking open a soda machine and taking the quarters, which the machine was in a resident only common area that you need a key to get into, so it was probably a resident, not very smart. there's a pool, heated year round, and a bbq pit, a lounge area with some soda machines and couches, the landscaping is well maintained and they've planted some nice flouring shrubs and i think i saw a lime tree and avacado tree outside the main office, don't know where they planted them, but they're really making an effort to make the place nicer, get it as far away from the dorms that they started out as. Over-all a pretty safe place, very convenient location, and decent sized one bedrooms, clean when i moved in with new carpet, freshly painted walls. They allow cats with a $300 deposit, fair security deposit of 650, 7 month lease, reasonably priced studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms. Hope this review is helpful to those searching for a new apartment! good luck :)
