My daughter and roommates were shown a lovely model apartment and were told that theirs would be like it because theirs was being completely redone. This was 90% correct. Counting the 3 girls and the 5 adults who helped them move in, we were all grossed-out over the terrible slum condition of the bathrooms - -leaky toilets, a leak under the sink. The moulding around the shower and tub were grungy and missing. The complaint to the manager was only met with defensive, rude remarks. She is the queen of rude, and get this - - -she said that the barhrooms were not included in the remodeling, and that if the girls wanted better, that they would have to pay another $25 a month, and move to another apartment. She was completely unwilling to make it right. They would not let them in to preview the apartment until the lease was signed and all initial fees were paid. We only got in on moving day. Too late for us to do much about it.

You are correct about the "manager being queen of rude" maybe you should have checked this site before you moved in because I wrote something titled the Queen herself. You and your daughter are about to get a lesson on "read and check apartment reviews" before you move. Believe the comments that past tenants have written they are all true! You as the "parent" in this (apartment complex) management will be most rude to you! This is just the beginning of an unhappy lease and home just wait and see.
