Cockroaches, arbitrarily towed vehicles, and a little paint to cover the mold.

The first apartment we were given there was INFESTED with cockroaches, to the point they were going into our microwave and we had to throw it away when they FINALLY after a week and a half of lots of complaining and threats of seeking legal advice. The complex claimed they would reimburse us for the new microwave we had to purchase, and despite providing all of the pertaining documents, and the pest control guy even telling them the place was unlivable despite how clean we were and verifying that their cockroach problem made them owe us a microwave, we never got it.

The second apartment they gave us didn't have LIVE cockroaches, just dead ones all around. They gave it to us uncleaned. And claimed they would send someone to clean it, but never did promptly enough so we could get out of the apartment infested with LIVE cockroaches.

6 months later, we leave our car in our designated parking spot, and we come home to find it empty after being on vacation. Our vehicle was registered, but the tags hadn't been received in the mail yet, and they had our car towed. Didn't think to call us, knowing it was in our designated parking spot. They said because they had tagged it and the notice was there for 3 days (when were gone of course) that it was out of their hands. With their parking policy for designated spots ANYONE could call the office and claim someone is parked in your spot as though it was their spot and verify by simply giving the correct apartment number (which every resident knows that the corresponding parking spot is the apartment number 165) So don't ever leave your car there if you plan on being gone for more than 24 hours.

Finally, when I tried to clean the shower, I realized the stains weren't coming off because the mold spores that looked like stains were just painted over when they "resurfaced" the showers/tubs.

Even the newly remodeled apartments still have these "resurfaced" showers and tubs that are exposing you to mold.

Don't park your cars near trees, they might cut the branches and let the fall on your car. They will only tell you to move them or give you notice if your car is in their way to GET to the trees, not if your car is in danger.

The staff, especially the manager Alicia Saul and a lady named Louann, are something that starts with a B and ends with an itch, unjustly. Even with polite questions or concerns they respond with defensive and rude retorts and are absolutely no help, the staff is not there whatsoever to mitigate your problems or concerns.

If you like to party, there are plenty of places and parties to do so at, but otherwise if you don't and like your sleep, you won't get much sleep. And you won't be able to catch up during the day because the apartment complex spends all their money having the outside grounds maintained with noisy tree cutters, cement sanders, leaf blowers etc., the place looks great exteriorly but interiorly not so much. DON'T LET THE MODELS FOOL YOU!

I think that people should start calling the Health Department. My daughter lives there, and it is jusr as bad as you say!! The rooms are nothing like the "models". the place is definitely a s*** hole. This must be owned by someone who directs the manager to get away with as much (actually as little) as possible. I advise going to city hall and looking at ownership records to find out who actually owns the place and start getting after them.. It may be some corporation in China that could care less. Post the owner's name and address and get everyone to complain to them.

I agree with the first response I don't know what good it would do, don't you think they look at this website? hum, the owners, probably not, but the staff probably so. I agree also with the angry tenant that the managers are exactly as she states and they don't give a hoot about the tenants. All I can say is count this as a learning tool and get out when you can, you are only going to be miserable the longer you stay, it pays to read Apartment Ratings, I'll say that much!
