I don't know what to take from some of these reviews. I've lived here a few years now and as a tenant, it has been a better experience than the last place I lived. I've rcv'd quick responses from staff. My initial complaints when I first moved in were met with some resistance by the owner-almost like he wanted to challenge me and make me feel bad. And it was over an issue that obviously needed corrective action. But he seemed to come around. Was difficult tho. Now, as I have proven to be a good tenant I have no problems. Quick to respond to noise complaints or other issues and will most definitely take progressive action to toss out lame, disprectful tenants. I don't know why Gretchen left - she was/is a sweetheart. Was very glad to see a previous mngr, Dave, leave. I'd like to know why the owner ever hired him. He was creepy and so condescending. Staff turnover is high. Right now I'm satisfied. If you have complaints about the owners, then my guess is maybe you've been reprimanded and now you feel singled out. Maybe it's justified, maybe not. I don't get to see all the daily business here as I'm at work, but I think things are ok. It can't be easy to operate a large complex and attempt to make the majority satisfied. I hope the staff are doing their job to screen out new tenants. I've wondered recently how the screening process is going because there is suddenly no vacancy here, a rash of new ppl moving in. I think the new maintenance guy who lives here is doing a good job - he has been taking care of things that have been left unattended for a long time. Including the little things that matter in big ways like heavy, squeaky area doors. Gates that don't work properly. He walks the grounds to ensure the community is sound. He's tossed out a few unwanted homeless river dwellers late at night that tend to stumble in sometimes and bring trouble with them. The landscaping is beautiful and well cared for by staff. Kudos to them!
